Our Founders

Dr. Petrice McKey-Reese

Dr. McKey-Reese, born in New Orleans, is a distinguished military veteran with over 30 years of service, reaching the pinnacle of her career in Wiesbaden, Germany. Married to Eddie F. Reese Sr., she's the proud mother of two sons and a grandmother to seven cherished grandchildren.

​

Her remarkable journey includes features in The Fayetteville Press, Army Times, and radio.com, highlighting her historic achievements as the only African American female rigger warrant officer. Recognized in the Women's Hall of Fame Foundation and the Parachute Rigger Hall of Fame, Dr. McKey-Reese is an international best-selling author and co-founder of Zeta Pi Theta Sorority for Military Women Inc.

Currently pursuing a Master's in General Business Management, Dr. McKey-Reese holds a Doctor of Philosophy "Honoris Causa" and Business & Entrepreneurship Coach Certification. Her military accolades, including the Legion of Merit and the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service in 2022, attest to her exceptional dedication.

A member of The Temple of Hope Church, Dr. McKey-Reese is actively involved in various Masonic organizations, the National Warrant Officer's Association, and a lifetime member of several military and veterans' associations.

Dr. Theresa "Tre" A Smith

Dr. Smith has served this nation honorably since 1992 in many different capacities. She is a military spouse, former Department of Defense Contractor, and U.S. Army Veteran. Her duty assignments have taken her across the globe, including multiple deployments.


Dr. Smith is currently in a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership program of study; she holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (Hon. Causa) from the Trinity International University of Ambassadors School of Business, a Master of Strategic Studies - U.S. Army War College, a Master of Management - University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration - University of Phoenix.
